Taxi Federation President, Tim Reddish, apologised to Green Cabs in the Dominion Post after making inaccurate statements about the company.
In an earlier press release issued by Mr Reddish on 23 November 2007 titled ‘Green Taxi Company Makes False Claims’ he stated that Green Cabs had claimed to be New Zealand’s first registered carbon neutral taxi company and the first in New Zealand to operate a fleet of hybrid vehicles. Green Cabs has never made any such claims. He also stated that Green Cabs were not New Zealand’s first carbon-neutral taxi company.
In the apology Mr Reddish said he wished to retract the earlier statements made in the November press release and apologise to Green Cabs for making them.
